IISER Mohali Campus Academic Block

Established in 2007, IISER Mohali was the third IISER to be set up after Pune and Kolkata, with the vision of integrating fundamental research with undergraduate education. Over the years, the institute has firmly established itself in the global scientific landscape, with its faculty and students producing research of international standards and contributing across disciplines. IISER Mohali houses state-of-the-art facilities such as NMR, Transmission Electron Microscopy, X-ray characterization, and High Performance Computing, enabling cutting-edge research. The institute remains closely connected to the frontiers of science through active participation in contemporary scientific discourse, including recent conferences on digitization, Quantum Foundations,Technology, and Applications (QFTA), and harmonic analysis. Its involvement in the recent SKA (Square Kilometre Array) Symposium further highlights IISER Mohali’s engagement with large-scale global scientific collaborations. Alongside these advances, the institute continues to serve as a fertile ground for nurturing young researchers, fostering curiosity-driven inquiry and academic excellence.

Tattva 2026 is the second edition of the annual science festival of the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) Mohali, organised on the occasion of National Science Day. The festival is envisioned as a platform for scientific outreach, academic engagement, and institutional visibility, bringing together students, researchers, and the broader public in a research-focused environment. Its purpose is to be a place where eminent academicians and students from across the country meet, increasing expo sure and exchanges involving different fields of scientific research — from the perspective of a national institute.

This year, we, the fest organizing committee, are putting together a collective effort to conduct the fest on the 27th February to 1st March 2026.
